Rectangular Desks

Its where desks started - with a standard rectangle, they can come in virtually any size you require but the standard widths are 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, 1800mm, and 2000mm. The usual depth is 800mm although with the advent of flat screens many companies are cutting down to a 600mm deep desk. This can save space and if you are trying to increase the number of people in a given area this can be an important financial consideration

Rectangular desk tops also allow you to include a simple extension return which will enhance the workspace available.

Ergonomic or Corner Workstations

Corner workstations are often referred to as ergonomic desks, the user usually sits in the corner and as a result has desk-top space to both sides. This is ideal for small teams, where team members can see each other and enjoy improved communication as a result. They are also ideal for configuring into flowing shapes that can promote harmony in a busy office environment.
