Executive Desk

Rectangular Desks

Its where desks started - with a standard rectangle, they can come in virtually any size you require but the standard widths are 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1400mm, 1600mm, 1800mm, and 2000mm. The usual depth is 800mm although with the advent of flat screens many companies are cutting down to a 600mm deep desk. This can save space and if you are trying to increase the number of people in a given area this can be an important financial consideration

Rectangular desk tops also allow you to include a simple extension return which will enhance the workspace available.

Wave Desks

If you like the idea of a flowing form to your office space then wave desks may be a solution. Generally they allow a larger desk space without using additional floor space and can be grouped into many different configurations.

Ergonomic or Corner Workstations

Corner workstations are often referred to as ergonomic desks, the user usually sits in the corner and as a result has desk-top space to both sides. This is ideal for small teams, where team members can see each other and enjoy improved communication as a result. They are also ideal for configuring into flowing shapes that can promote harmony in a busy office environment.

Bench Desks

Creates long uninterrupted workspaces with built in cable management and improved communications for working in groups with added flexibility. Bench desk systems use less legs allowing the desks to share components with both cost savings and more space for users. Bench desk systems are often used in a hot desk environment where desk top cable access can allow the casual user to simply plug in their laptop or chosen peripheral and come and go as they please. Other typical bench desk scenarios are call centres, architects desks for large plan surfaces and inter work groups where communication is vital. Companies with bench systems have reported that employees working in project groups prefer the improvement in group communications that bench desks can bring and increases have been seen in project quality and efficiency.
